Drummer Mike Heidorn reflected on the history of a seminal Americana band.

One of the things I hope to do in this blog is preserve some of my earlier writing in hopes that it doesn’t get lost on a deteriorating internet. A popular culture website published this review on 22 April 2002.

To the best of my knowledge, no other online copies of this article exist.

That I got to interview Mike Heidorn is something I still can’t quite believe. He was pretty terrific.

I know this article has been cited elsewhere, so I wanted to get some form of it back online.
